AIXTRON – Always One Step Ahead

AIXTRON SE, founded in 1983 as a spin-off from RWTH Aachen, develops and manufactures innovative deposition systems for the production of the complex material structures required for the production of compound, silicon and organic semiconductors, as well as nanomaterials. These components are the key elements of the latest generation of displays, memory and logic chips, lasers, solar cells and optoelectronic products. Headquartered in Germany, AIXTRON has production facilities as well as sales and service offices in North America, Europe and Asia. With about 780 employees, AIXTRON generated revenues of over 780 million Euros in 2010. In 1997 AIXTRON went public and its securities are listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (TecDax^®) and on the Global Market of the NASDAQ (US Technology Stock Exchange).
