The BMW Group achieved a global sales volume of approximately 1.46 million automobiles and over 98,000 motorcycles for the 2010 financial year. At 31 December 2010, the company employed a global workforce of approximately 96,000 associates.

BMW AG Beijing Representative Office
In 1994 April, BMW Group established the representative office in Beijing, which is recognized as BMW’s official entry to Chinese market. In 2005 October, BMW China Automotive Trading Ltd. was established as another milestone of BMW’s long term commitment to Chinese market. BMW in ChinaBy both import and local production, BMW has introduced all product series to Chinese market including 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, X, Z, M series as well as MINI and Rolls-Royce brands. In the year of 2010, BMW China has sold more than 168.988 cars in China. Raising sales figures by 86,7% China has become the 3rd largest market in BMW’s global sales network.

BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.
In September 2003, the BMW Group expanded its international production network with a plant in Northeast China. The plant, a joint venture between the BMW Group and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd., produces vehicles solely for the local market and contributes to developing and penetrating the Chinese market. Currently the BMW 3 Series Sedan, followed by the BMW 5 Series are produced.  In November 2009 a contract about a further production plant in Shenyang was concluded.

Trainee Programs
