GETRAG Corporate Group is one of the largest system suppliers for transmissions and powertrain systems. The Group develops technical solutions for the automotive industry, featuring a wide product range of transmission systems and drivetrain components for passenger cars, SUVs, motorbikes and light commercial vehicles. In 2008 the Group reached a turnover of around 2,5 billion euros.

GETRAG Group Transmissions, GETRAG Group Axles, GETRAG FORD Transmissions, GETRAG Americas and GETRAG Asia Pacific combine their strength under this umbrella and the brand name GETRAG.

GETRAG Asia Pacific

GETRAG Corporate Group is represented in Asia with GETRAG Asia Pacific and its company GETRAG (Jiangxi) Transmission Co. Ltd (GJT) both founded in 2006. The headquarters is located in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi Province, about 600 km and one hour flight south west of Shanghai. The company specializes in the development and production of transmission and transmission components for the Asian market.

GJT is a joint venture of GETRAG and Jiangling Motor Company Group (JMCG) with three production locations in Nanchang, Ganzhou and Yudu. The headquarters with all central departments and product development moved into a brand new building at the end of 2010. The newly constructed plant in Nanchang was put into operation in February 2009. Ganzhou plant was also newly erected in the last few years and Yudu was completely modernized.  

In 2010 GJT with its 3,500 employees reached a turnover of over 200 million Euro and produced 540,000 transmissions. The company plans further expansions of its activities in Asia.
