Application Specialist (NTS Shanghai)

Responsibilities:

-Professional customer demonstrations of scanning/transmission electron microscopes and

focused ion beam systems based on customer samples. Demonstration of unique and

differentiating features based on application and analysis advantages on a scientific level.

-Development and demonstration of customer specific application solutions to support sales

and marketing in China. Drive application solutions to highest achievable level, locally and

internationally, by intensive interaction with various customer groups and academic research

organisations. By identifying latest trends, developments and requirements in relevant

application groups such as material analysis, bio life science, forensic ect., defining best fit

application solutions for the individual customer as well as for customer groups;

-Interactive international information exchange with CZ internal application force as well as

with the international research community;

-Planning, coordination and execution of system demonstrations, customer trainings and

workshops in demonstration centre and or on customer site;

-Preparation and giving of talks, lectures at congresses and workshops;

-Translations of presentation materials into mandarin;

-Active support, interaction and cooperation with sales and service to achieve highest level of

customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. University degree in material science, Biology, Electronics or Chemistry;

2. Prefer with experience in SEM/TEM/FIB application;

3. Good product knowledge and interpersonal skills;

4. Analytical and solution oriented thinking;

5. Customer oriented focus;

6. Solid English language skills, verbal and written;

7. High Commitment to travel.
