Requirements:

1. Profound education in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems

1. (Master, Bachelor or comparable) or equivalent working experience
2. 3+ years working experience as 2nd level application support engineer
3. Ability to understand complex systems and processes
4. Knowledge of Java or other OOP language, ability to debug code
5. Excellent skills to debug browser based applications
6. Excellent skills to construct complex SQL statements
7. Excellent communications skills also in conflict situations
8. Customer orientation, can solve issues with empathy
9. Fluent English in spoken and written
10. Accept business trip as project demanding
11. Benefit knowledge: shop floor processes in automotive; SAP ME/MII, SAP HANA database, JIRA

Your Profile:

1. Participate in an international team rolling out global solutions for industrial business
2. Responsible for 2nd level application support of Manufacturing Execution System in all plants of BU Steering
3. Knowledge and understanding of business processes supported by the applications
4. Deep understanding of how the systems work
5. Collaborate with key users to ensure each complaint handled accordingly
6. Perform root cause analysis of reported issues
7. Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions to the problem
8. Collaborate with the software engineering and system management team
9. Manage vendor escalations
10. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
11. Responsible to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base to solve application issues
12. Responsible for continuous improvement of application support processes
